Civic Education Workshops
Participants of all ages will learn about government operations and the direct correlation between those operations and the quality of their daily lives. Step by step, we identify proactive-versus-reactive practices as we outline the process of increasing civic participation within communities.
Every workshop will encompass various activities in an effort to make the delivery realistic, relatable and resourceful.
The Community Action Network Initiatives team can deliver these workshops to schools, churches, local businesses and community organizations.
U.S. History
Participants will gain a greater understanding of the key elements that encompasses the formation of the United States and the ways in which they affect your life. Participants gain an understanding of the purpose of the Constitution and its importance to you and the country.

Participants will learn why this movement was crucial in changing the way the United States treated its citizens of African descent, and understand how the movement has directly affected everyone in the world and the ways in which we interact with each other.

Learn more about why the Constitution required amendments in order to form a more perfect union for you and everyone that lives in the United States.
